NANOSTRUCTURED BIOMATERIALS
These are materials that are compatible with the human body, interacting with biological substrates at the nanoscale (e.g. membrane proteins). They include materials that are helpful to deliver drugs more efficiently, to understand the mode of action of disease and to enable the discovery of new physical and chemical properties.
