Nano-Biomaterials Group is an team of international chemists, pharmaceutical scientists, chemical and biomedical engineers working at Macquarie University in Sydney.
Our interest is in understanding and controlling self-assembly in order to prepare new materials with a structural order at the nanoscale. We focus on silica-based nanostructured particles which are being developed for applications in nanomedicine and pharmaceutical drug delivery.
Our aim is to foster international collaboration to better understand the interface between biology and inorganic materials.
